What is Into the Void?

Have you been looking for a space that encourages the pursuit of knowledge? Do you value growth, self-awareness, & an open mind?

If so, grow with us at the Into the Void program where we share stories, history, ethical philosophies, and most importantly cultural teaching with each other while creating art for the next generation. This is done through our bi-weekly Into the Void Podcasting initiatives, our weekly Workshop Sessions partnered with Love & Allies of ATX, and any specialty theatre showcases that are featured seasonally in the Fall and Summer seasons.

This is a hands-on training program that can be accessed by partnership advocates (prerequisite 10 hrs of volunteering and contract) and workshop participants. Workshops are $15 per session, outside of Food in Flourish which is free, with some sponsored donation-based seats available at the discretion of the mentor in-charge of that session for students who need more affordable payment options.

Into the Void Podcast Forums

Love is Human currently provides the following forums for these pivotal discussions about the community and other humanitarian based topics. Some titles of these forums were inspired by the Indigenous Roots of this organization. If you wish to be part of any of these discussions, please contact us to join in these discussions as an interviewee. All participants for behind-the-scenes and hosting activities related to this podcast are required to reach out to current Love is Human leaders to become a part of this program initiative after completing the prerequisite hours of volunteer work or knowledge sharing session attendance.

Performing and fine arts forum to discuss the current actions by the city and state to cultivate opportunities for the performers and creatives of the Central Texas Area.

Politics N Truth

Politics and fact checking forum for rising journalists, political analysts, and historians. Here we speak truth and demand change while keeping to the facts about current politics and the history of these lands.

Community Voices

Interviewing forum that features various community leaders and advocates that not only deserve the spotlight, but honor the community regardless of the situations that arise in the city of Austin and the surrounding cities.

The Advocate Spotlight

Panel forum featuring the voices of Love is Human's Partnership Advocates and their collective journey through our programs. Includes anything and everything related to their time with us, serving the community, or their current concerns in life.

Hustash's GIft

Herbal medicine and gardening forum to discuss nature's gift. Includes topics about spiritual association to certain herbs and plants as well as the medicinal benefits they carry.

Exploring the Void

Various Cultural Folklore & Spiritualism Talks forum. We'll discuss folklore and spiritualism from various cultures featuring various community members and Love is Human personnel that wish to share their cultural roots and beliefs

What is Human?

Panel forum with various people of different backgrounds to debate this one topic placed in various perspectives related to current controversy. The goal is solidifying a common ground for the people of Central Texas to come together and learn potentially something new during each session.

Reconnect with the sustainability efforts of your ancestors while learning about new plants along with their care, their medicinal benefits, and even histories.

Captivating the Artist Workshops | Improv Art with Emotions

You will be assigned one emotion per week to create a reflection of that emotion via any medium you work with in order to release the weight it can sometimes carry.

You will be assigned one topic per week to create a reflection of that topic that speaks to your makeup creativity. Each session will end with a fun photo shoot of all the work created with each topic.

Learn about graphic design, photography, and journalism techniques to expand your abilities as content creators and future journalists of the generation.

Industry Techniques for the Camera | Group Content Creation & Acting on the Camera Sessions

Expand your knowledge of film and production via our group content creating workshop where you will be taught industry techniques for the camera while assisting community directors and writers in bringing their projects to life or our own. Each creation will be featured on the Love is Human Youtube Channel, and all credit will be shared based on participation and associated role in the project being studied and created at the time. If you sign up, check your email for potential off-site filming and scouting on occasion.

Vocal Flow | Group Vocal Lessons

Understand and connect with your voice in our Vocal Flow Workshops where you will be trained on vocal technique and performance. Each session requires you to learn about the voice's anatomy, physiology, and expression thereof. Every 2 weeks a genre will be chosen and participants will work together under the supervision of a vocal teacher to practice, develop, and then perform one song for the rest of the participants to then add into their repertoire.

Writers Room | Group Writing Sessions

Connect with our program to gain knowledge about formal script writing, director's notes and queues, and even character development. Here you will learn about what it means to be a writer, and what it means to put a reflection up to humanity for actors to then create a potential masterpiece on stage or on camera. Finished scripts will be eligible for submission into our list of projects and creations for the Industry Techniques for the Camera and Stage workshop sessions to work on and develop each season.

Industry Techniques for the Stage | Group Acting Sessions

Expand your knowledge of acting on stage for contemporary and period pieces. We'll decipher the director's notes and queues from different pieces, learn about different acting techniques, and eventually showcase stories created by the Writers Room workshop sessions, local ATX talent, or from general popular culture throughout the ages.

Learn the fundamentals of our software is created from the front end of an application to the back end. This is a great class for beginners and novices looking to expand their knowledge of software applications.

These are our bi-weekly meetings with our partnerships advocate, our board members, our partner venue leaders, and any other interested community member. Here we will give everyone firsthand information about upcoming events, programming initiatives, performer/artist opportunities, and organizational actions involving Love is Human and the community.
